Facilities Use
Entering the Library
- You may use your student ID, faculty/staff ID, or library user ID to pass through the library entrance/exit gates.
- Students must carry their student ID (user ID) with them at all times while in the library and present it to library staff when requested.
- If you are caught renting or duplicating your student ID (user ID), or entering or leaving the library without permission, your access to the library and services will be restricted in accordance with library rules and regulations.
Students, faculty, and staff of the University of Ulsan
- You can use your student ID (faculty/staff ID) to enter and exit the library and use the facilities.
- You can download the Clicker App to use your Mobile User ID.
- Students on military leave may use the library in the same manner as current students. However, military leave students may use the library in the same manner as general leave students after visiting the lending office and applying for use.
- Students who have completed their graduate studies may use the library for up to five years. If you wish to use the library for additional time to complete your dissertation, you must complete a separate application form to obtain permission.
Alumni/Retired Faculty and Staff
- Alumni and faculty/staff who have been employed for more than 10 years are eligible to use the library after applying for special membership.
- Please download the Clicker App and use your Mobile User ID Card. (Student IDs and faculty/staff IDs issued while enrolled/employed cannot be used.
Users affiliated with ULSAN COLLEGE
- You can use your University of Ulsan College student ID (faculty/staff ID) to enter the library and use the materials/facilities.
- Clicker app can be downloaded to use the mobile ID card.
- Members of the Ulsan College are in accordance with the members of the University of Ulsan.
Special Members
- Mobile access card (clicker app) to enter and leave the library and use the facilities.
Visitors (external users)
- Visitors may enter and leave the library only to browse materials.
- Visitors must check in their ID card at the entrance and fill out a separate application form and have a visitor's ID card issued before entering and exiting the library.
Use of Facilities
- Library facilities (reading rooms, group study rooms, etc.) can be easily reserved and used through the Library Facilities Reservation System.
- Upon arrival, please be sure to authenticate your Wi-Fi/beacon or QR to confirm your entry to the library within a certain time. If you do not authenticate, your reservation will be canceled, and you will not be able to use the room for 7 days. (within 20 minutes in the reading room and 30 minutes in the group study room)
How to reserve facilities
- Mobile App
- Search for "Clicker" in the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) and install.
- Select a reading room or group study room and make a reservation by specifying the seat, location, date, etc.
- Webpage
- After logging in from the Library homepage>Use of Facilities>Facilities - Seat Reservation, you can reserve a group study room or discussion reading room. (For free reading rooms, you can only inquire about the current status of seats.)
